The people who began it
Dr. Charles J. Slagle and Dr. Harold M. Trepp founded the practice that became a familiar part of dental care in Greenwich. Its story is rooted in people returning over time, bringing questions, sharing milestones and introducing the next generation.
As families and the community have changed, the practice has continued to value a simple idea: dentistry works best when the people providing it know the person receiving it.
Care carried from one generation to the next
Dr. Richard D. Miller and Dr. Douglas M. Trepp continued that tradition. Dr. Trepp’s local upbringing and focus on preventive, conservative dentistry reflect the close connection between the practice and the community it serves.
Dr. Chase Whitlow became Clinical Director in 2024 and now leads the practice as owner. The name Greenwich Point Dental marks the current chapter while recognizing the relationships built under the names The Town Practice and Drs. Whitlow & Trepp.
What continuity means for you
History matters most when it supports care today: a place to ask questions, revisit a plan and be treated as an individual. We welcome returning patients as well as people meeting the practice for the first time.
If you knew the practice by an earlier name, call us to discuss your next visit or the transfer of existing records. Our team can help you understand what to bring and how to get started.
