OUR PRACTICE

A clearer picture. A more informed choice.

Dental technology is most useful when it helps you understand your own health. We use the information from your examination and appropriate imaging to guide the conversation.

Let’s talk about your care

Personal care.
A Greenwich tradition.

GREENWICH POINT DENTAL

Seeing what an examination cannot show

Dental X-rays can reveal changes between teeth, around roots or below the gumline that may not be visible during an examination. The need for images depends on your history, current findings and risk factors; an X-ray is not automatically required at every appointment.

The practice’s published technology information includes digital X-rays. Tell us about recent images taken elsewhere so we can discuss obtaining them before deciding whether new imaging is needed.

Looking together, asking better questions

Intraoral photographs can help bring details into view. Seeing the area being discussed may make it easier to understand wear, a damaged restoration or an aspect of your hygiene routine.

A useful image leads to a useful explanation: what it shows, how certain the finding is, and which options are reasonable. Ask us to point out the area and explain how it affects your treatment choices.

Tools support clinical judgment

Digital records help organize information about your care. Please update your medication list, allergies and medical history when they change, even if your teeth feel the same.

No device replaces an examination or guarantees a diagnosis. For questions about a particular technique or piece of equipment, contact the practice so we can discuss its relevance to your planned visit.
