YOUR VISIT

First, we listen. Then, we look together.

A first visit is a chance to get oriented: to meet us, explain your concerns and understand your dental health before choosing what comes next.

Let’s talk about your care

Personal care.
A Greenwich tradition.

GREENWICH POINT DENTAL

Before you arrive

Confirm your appointment time and planned services with the team. If you have not completed your forms in advance, allow time for the paperwork. Bring your medication list, insurance details if applicable, and any information the office has requested.

If you have a medical condition that affects dental care, let us know before your visit. Follow your prescribing clinician’s directions; do not start or stop medication based on general website advice.

A conversation and an examination

We will review your health history and listen to the reason for your visit. Tell us about sensitivity, bleeding gums, jaw discomfort or changes you have noticed, along with any appearance-related goals.

An examination helps establish what is happening and whether further imaging or assessment is useful. Ask the dentist to explain findings in plain language. A first visit may focus on diagnosis and planning; confirm with the team whether a cleaning or treatment is scheduled.

Leave with a clearer next step

If care is recommended, discuss its purpose, alternatives, priorities and what can reasonably wait. Ask how the proposed sequence fits your schedule and how estimates will be explained.

There is value in a plan you understand. You can write down questions, ask for clarification or take time to consider your options. Our aim is a conversation that helps you make an informed choice.

YOUR NEXT CHAPTER
