Thoughtful dental care

Keep the character. Refine the details.

A smile makeover is a conversation about your priorities, not a fixed package of procedures. Veneers may be one option when the shape, color or visible surface of selected teeth is the concern. The aim is a plan you understand and a change that feels considered.

Let’s talk about your care

Describe what you want to change

Tell us which details draw your attention and which qualities you want to preserve. A chipped edge, uneven proportions and overall tooth color may need different approaches. Photographs can support the discussion, but your own teeth, gums and bite shape the possibilities.

We first assess oral health. Active decay, gum inflammation or uncontrolled grinding can undermine cosmetic work. Sometimes alignment or whitening deserves consideration before a veneer plan is developed.

Understand the commitment of veneers

Veneers cover the front surface of teeth and can change their appearance. Porcelain and composite approaches have different characteristics, including repair needs and the amount of preparation required. When enamel is removed, that change is irreversible; the tooth will need ongoing restorative care.

A veneer is not a substitute for treating an unhealthy tooth, and it is different from a crown that covers more of the tooth. Ask why a particular restoration is recommended, how much natural structure it would alter and whether a smaller intervention could meet your goal.

Plan color, shape and everyday function together

The proposed look should be considered alongside speech, bite and cleaning. Extremely bright or uniform teeth may not be your preference; say so early. If whitening is part of the plan, its sequence matters because existing restorations do not whiten like natural enamel.

Veneers can chip, loosen or need replacement. Avoid using teeth as tools and discuss grinding or sports protection where relevant. At a consultation, we can review the expected stages, alternatives and individual estimate so you can make a decision without needing to choose everything at once.

YOUR QUESTIONS

A little more clarity.

Do all my front teeth need veneers?

No. The number of teeth treated should follow the concern, appearance goals and clinical findings. A limited plan may be appropriate, while some goals call for a broader comparison.

Are veneers reversible?

Veneers that require enamel removal are not reversible. Even conservative preparations create a lasting maintenance commitment, so discuss alternatives and future replacement before proceeding.

Can veneers straighten crooked teeth?

They may disguise some visible irregularities but do not move roots or correct every bite problem. Orthodontic treatment may be a better option for alignment.
