Look beyond the change in appearance
Ask what treatment was performed, what the teeth and gums were like beforehand, and whether additional care was needed. A change that looks simple in a photograph may involve several stages.
Lighting, angle and facial expression can also affect how a smile appears. Consistent photographs are helpful, but even clear images do not show everything about bite, comfort or health.
Ask questions that make the comparison useful
- Was the example a similar starting situation to mine?
- What alternatives were considered and how much tooth preparation was involved?
- What maintenance, repair or replacement might be needed over time?
- Which parts of the result are realistic for my teeth, gums and bite?
Your result begins with your assessment
A consultation connects your preferences with the findings from an examination. The aim is to understand the options, their limitations and the care needed to maintain them.
